NCDC's Winter Dance Camp 2024
We’re so glad you’ll be joining us at dance camp!
Below is important information that you will need in order to register.

Registration Options
All 8 glorious days (Friday, June 14 to Saturday, June 22)
The first 4 days (Friday, June 14 to Tuesday, June 18)
The final 4 days (Tuesday, June 18 to Saturday, June 22)
If you are staff and have permission to sign up for a non-standard option, you will need a code to do so. Please discuss this with your NCDC contact.
Sliding Scale
NCDC is a non-profit organization, and we do our best to keep our fees low. To keep the event affordable and accessible, we have created a sliding scale based on your income and other factors. We ask you to be generous and "pay it forward" if you can, so NCDC can be sure to cover its expenses and so we can provide scholarships to campers in need.
When choosing your income level, please adjust your rate upwards if you have significant assets (own property, have a trust fund or inherited wealth, a retirement plan, etc.). Adjust your rate downwards if you have significant health or financial burdens, high child care costs, are a single parent, etc. If you don't actually have income from a job but you have a trust fund or a spouse/partner who is in a higher-income category, and coming to Dance Camp is not a stretch for you, please choose the middle income category or higher.
Per adult:
Low income = less than $50,000/year with few resources -- coming to Dance Camp is a stretch for you, and you are likely to apply for work-exchange or a scholarship
Middle income = $50,000/year to $90,000/year
Higher income = more than $90,000/year
Important Information about 2024 Tickets -- new process this year!

There will be 75 tickets available at the Can't Wait for Dance Camp rates. These tickets will be available until April 15 or until all 75 tickets are gone, whichever comes first. At this point the So Excited about Dance Camp pricing will take effect.

There will be 75 tickets at the So Excited rates until tickets are gone or until the end of May 20 (extended from May 15), whichever comes first, at which point the So Glad There's Still Room rates goes into effect.

Registration Rates
Rates are all-inclusive (meals, activities, dorm cabin or your own tent or vehicle, all the dance and sweetness and fun you can handle, and even parking):
Can't Wait for Dance Camp (earliest, lowest rates) -- SOLD OUT!
So Excited about Dance Camp (regular rates Extended through May 20!) -- SOLD OUT!
Low Income: $154/day
Middle Income: $187/day
Higher Income: $220/day
Teen (13-19 years): $85/Day
Child (4-12 years): $60/day
Child under 4 years: Free (children must be at least 4 years old to join kids camp)
So Glad There's Still Room for Me (higher rates) -- SOLD OUT!
Low Income: $170/day
Middle Income: $206/day
Higher Income: $242/day
Teen (13-19 years): $85/Day

If you would like to be added to the waitlist for Dance Camp 2024, register as you normally would, and you will be put on the waitlist. If a spot opens and you are next in line, your credit card will be charged, and you will receive an email confirmation.
Work-Exchange
If you wish to apply for work exchange, complete the work-exchange application first before registering. You will need to wait until you are assigned a role before registering, at which point you will get your coupon code. If you fail to do this, the system will require you to pay in full for camp when you register, and you don’t want that ;o)!
When registering for work exchange, if your balance due is less than $100, you will be required to pay $100 as a deposit during registration. Your deposit will be refunded at the end of camp once your work commitment has been completed.
Cancellation, Registration Change, and Refund Policy
Illness
The wellness of campers at our events is our highest priority. If you have any symptoms of illness within 3 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival, please do not attend - you will only be charged a $50 fee for cancellation. We may ask for medical documentation for verification. Email us as soon as possible at ncdcdances@gmail.com.
If you get sick at camp or develop any symptoms (scratchy throat, fever, stomach ache, etc.), you must immediately isolate. If symptoms persist, you will be required to leave camp.
Refunds for those who leave camp early due to illness will be considered by the cancellation committee after camp. You must contact us to request a refund no more than 2 weeks after leaving camp.
Other cancellations

Cancellations before May 1 will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellations between May 1 and June 1 will incur a $200 cancellation fee per adult.

After June 1 there will be no refunds. (Emergency situations will be considered with prior email notification and will be discussed by the cancellation committee after camp is over. If approved, they will likely incur a $100 fee.)

There are no refunds for no-shows. There are hard costs we incur for everyone who is on our list of registered campers. If you don't let us know you won't be attending, we incur those costs even if you're not there.
Changes to Registration

Adding a Block - You may add a block simply by registering again for the additional block. You will be subject to current rates.

Adding a Person, including minors - Adding a person to your already-completed registration is unnecessary. You just need to register them as normal. They will be subject to current rates.

Subtracting a Block (or staff days) - This must be done by a team member. A $15 processing fee ($5 for staff), plus unrefunded fees from our payment and registration processors of 3% + $5, will be subtracted from your refund.

Changing Registration Information - This must be done by a team member. Changing your information will incur a $15 ($5 for staff) processing fee. You may not change your birthday or your income level.

Transfer of Registration - Registration transfer incurs a fee of $30. The transferee will be subject to current rates. Please click here to initiate a transfer. To have a team member initiate a transfer for you incurs a processing fee of an additional $15.
